We are on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes between Watersmeet and Yellow Birch Lakes.
The Inn with cozy knotty pine paneled rooms and 6 waterfront cottages We are encompassed by Chequamegon- Nicolet National Forest, Northern Highland American Legion Sate Forest and Vilas County Forest that have bike, hiking, cross county and snowshoe trails. Snowmobile trail is across the street.

It is time to relax by the waterfront with family, friends or after a business day. Enjoy the private grounds sunbathing, volleyball, a few shots at the hoops, fishing off the dock, roasting marshmallows on the fire pits, watching the wildlife wading in the water looking for dinner, a Bald Eagle sitting in the trees waiting for lunch to swim by, or a deer cautiously walks past you as they cross the property. If you have already relaxed too much, there are the 28 lakes of the Eagle River chain for Fishing, waterskiing, personal watercraft or head out to one of the County, State or National forests with more lakes, streams and trails for a hike or mountain bike tour, you might even find the bike trails that are paved... Check out the waterfalls, a museum or two, the State Nature Areas and find the old growth trees. Hit the go-cart course, enjoy an afternoon with a horse or float down one of the rivers in a canoe or a raft. What about a leisurely walk on the golf course and how did I forget shopping and candy stores. Winter does not slow down either, with over 500 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, frozen lakes for fishing, or check out the frozen waterfalls. Do not forget spring with wonderful woodland flowers, song birds heading north and autumn colors of the forests for that quite getaway. We are just outside of Eagle River with shopping, theater; restaurants, and festivals.
